Hobart to Granite Beach

The walk began with a 3-hour coach trip from Hobart to Cockle Creek. From there an easy half-day walk to the campsite at South Cape Rivulet.

The next day proved a little more wearing. First a 6-hour slog through endless mud and dripping tangled forest over South Cape Range to Granite Beach.
