Soviet Kharkovchanka Snow Tractors. These large and powerful machines with their 520HP V12 engines dwarfed the Australian Caterpillar D5 dozers with their relatively puny 110HP 6-cylinder engines. The Russians were genuinely amazed that we had come so far with just 3 D5 tractors.
